With everything going on in the world, now more than ever is the time to come together. We all have an invisible common enemy, and our local communities have gone above and beyond to be there for us, as we are for them.  From sweet handwritten notes to hand-made masks, lunches donated and nearly everything in between, our communities have shown what humanity should look like in a time of uncertainty.   We want to give a special thank you to is Tammy Hicks of Pepsi-Cola in Florence, SC. Tammy and her team donated 50, 2-liter bottles to be recycled and crafted into fully functional protective face shields. Our Marketing team picked up the bottles and got right to work, spending over 8 hours making these masks for our #HealthCareHeros.

We are excited to announce that you can now visit with one of our providers from the comfort of your home. Telemedicine is a service that allows a patient to have a virtual visit with a provider without having to go into one of our urgent care clinics. With Telemedicine, patients can now seek care from the comfort of their home, without being exposed to additional illnesses or spreading illnesses! Our telemedicine program offers the same services as a normal urgent care visit. We can help with illnesses, injuries, prescription refills, and more! You will be speaking with one of our providers directly online! Here at Stopwatch Urgent Care, we pride ourselves on supporting and connecting with our communities to the very best of our ability. One of our favorite ways to do this is educating, empowering, and engaging with the kids in our communities. Yesterday, on November 7th, we had the privilege of participating in Northside Elementary School’s 2019 Health Fair, where the school motto is “Reaching Higher, Shining Brighter!” We had an amazing time giving out pencils, toys, band-aids, snacks, cups, and juice boxes to the kids, while we spoke with them and their parents about the importance of being healthy.       After an hour of talking with the families, everyone gathered in the cafeteria where we got to see the school’s 1st and 2nd Graders sing us a program

At Stopwatch Urgent Care, we pride ourselves on playing our part in the community by supporting and contributing to local events, organizations, families, and in this case, little league soccer.   For the 2019-2020 season, we are incredibly excited to be able to sponsor the in-house teams for the Walterboro Soccer Club. Established in 1991, the Walterboro Soccer Club named themselves the Wildfire because the original founders were involved in fighting wildfires for the South Carolina Forestry Commission. With players ranging from age 4-adults, the Wildfire is a 100% volunteer club from the coaches to the board of directors. We are proud to support a fantastic club like this.   GO WILDFIRE
